INSPIRE & EMPOWER
GIRLS & WOMEN
The Lady Boss Campaign is a new gender equality initiative that aims to inspire and empower girls and women to lead companies and countries. Our goal is to achieve gender parity in heads of state and Fortune Global 500 CEOs by 2050.
Any entity that claims to support gender equality must set targets and timelines. Our first campaign is demanding that the next UN Secretary General be a woman.
Every G20 country should require public companies to report the data on gender balance in leadership and gender pay. This is a proven policy that significantly improves gender equality.
Asset managers and investors should incorporate gender balance performance as an ESG (Environmental Social & Governance) metric for investing.
Financial literacy is essential for economic independence and self-determination. Let’s make it easier for girls and women to master budgeting, investing and saving.
We will collaborate with a global network of educational institutions and NGOs to provide girls and women with comprehensive and rigorous skills training for leadership.
To bring change our strategy has to include an action plan that mobilizes our voices so that we can be heard. Here, we ask you to join forces with us to realize the goal of LBC.
If we do not measure the problem, we can not create a solution. Here we focus on key data about gender inequality that we need to know before we can bring about change.
This problem is too big for any one of us to solve on our own. Here we highlight people who are advancing gender equality so that we can learn from and be inspire by the work of others.
The United Nations promotes international peace and facilitates cooperation among nations in addressing global challenges. For 75 years, the UN has been lead by 9 male Secretary Generals. This December 2021, the member states will elect its next leader. If you believe it is time for the UN to LEAD BY EXAMPLE in support of GENDER EQUALITY, sign the petition below and demand that the UN appoint a woman as the next Secretary General.
